Decarlo tatum jr.

Decarlo Tatum Jr. emerged in 2014 as a member of the Atlanta rap trio Rebel Forest.

The group flourished creatively under the tutelage of southern hip-hop pioneer Rico Wade. Decarlo’s solo career explores the plight of a young man who came of age during Atlanta’s second creative and economic boom. The old school culture was very much alive yet contemporary music invaded the air-waives and gentrification erased everything he knew as his foundation. What emerges is a blend of blues, gospel, classic ATL-Rap meets new school revolutionary.

Most recently Decarlo’s music was featured on the debut season of the BET series COP WATCH.
